![]() No amplifier setting in the manager.Ĭan anyone confirm that this setting simply does not exist? If it does, CAN I enable it, or have I just been screwed by my own rush to simply get a new computer and not researching the sound card a bit more? I have checked Realtek's website on this exact card, and apparently it DOES have amplifiers built in on three different ports I have tried every port that I can plug my headphones into and have them recognized as headphones. I have searched with no answers, tried downloading Nahimic (not compatible apparently), checked the BIOS, downloaded almost every MSI utility I can find, and to no avail. The old version that I grew very accustomed to had a setting just titled "Amplifier", and you could change between front panel and auto switch This made the audio absolutely superb. I figured that the audio controls would be the exact same as my old Asus motherboard I was very, very wrong in that assumption. I just upgraded about two weeks ago to a new PC with an MSI motherboard.
